By using the USSD code

You can check your phone number by dialing the USSD code of your SIM card. Please follow the instructions below.

  1. Open your dial pad
  2. Dial *123# on your mobile phone
  3. Press first option (i.e 1)  to choose Account info
  4. When done with, then it will display some options on your screen.
  5. On your screen you will see my number then press the number where my number is but its always option one (1) so, press 1
  6. Your phone number will now be displayed and a text message will be sent to your phone with your number
  7. To minimize your time, you can dial this code *123*1*1# and send it, your mobile number will display on your screen and a message will send to you via SMS.

By using MTN call me back

Sometimes the procedure for the USSD code may be hard to follow, you can also dial this code on your phone pad *133# it will display on your phone screen that welcomes to men call me back service. Please enter the person’s phone number, a message will be sent to the number via SMS then you can now write it down.

By calling someone.

These are the last steps on how to see/check your mobile phone number on your phone.

  • You must make sure you have airtime on your phone
  • You must have someone else mobile phone number that is near you or you are at the same spot
  • Call the phone once it ring hangs up the call and ask the person to call your number for you or collect the person’s mobile phone.

To check your SIM registration all you need is to follow this small step

  • Open your dial pad
  • Dial *123# on your mobile phone through mtn sim if your phone is having another sim card.
  • Press first option (i.e 1)  to choose Account info
  • When done with, then it will display some options on your screen.
  • On your screen, you will see SIM registration status then press the number where SIM REGISTRATION STATUS is but it’s always option one (6) so, press 6.
